Bicycle clothing can be fashionable and functional. I wanted to create a bicycle coat that was warm, stylish, and long-lasting. I also wanted to solve the challenge of fiddling with bicycle lights. I thus decided to design a coat that has lights integrated into the front and back, but that aren't visible when switched off. The garment is first and foremost a fashionable coat, but also a safety device.

Here is the switch for the lights. It is a little tab with a magnet in it that flips up.

Here the switch flipped up. Now the lights are ON. The white tape is reflective tape.
